An injection molding machine includes a cylinder (41) that heats a molding material which is filled with the inside of a mold unit (30); a feeding member (43) that feeds the molding material within the cylinder (41); a drive device (46) that moves the feeding member (43) forward and backward; and a controller (70) that carries out a filling process of driving the drive device (46) to control the speed of the feeding member (43), and a hold pressure process of driving the drive device to control pressure acting on the molding material from the feeding member (43). The controller (70) performs switchover from the filling process to the hold pressure process on the basis of a detection result of a detector (37) that detects the arrival of the molding material within the mold unit (30) to a predetermined position. |
