Disclosed is a method for controlling a slip of a belt type-continuously variable transmission. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling a slip of a belt type-continuously variable transmission comprises: a step of receiving information on the determination of at least one slip generated while driving a vehicle by a transmission control unit; a step of calculating a slip estimation coefficient by the transmission control unit; a step of determining whether a slip is generated depending on the information on slip determination and a preset arbitrary slip determination algorithm by the transmission control unit; and a step of, by the transmission control unit, selecting any one slip control mode among preset multiple belt slip control modes based on the slip estimation coefficient and the result of determining whether the slip is generated and performing conversion into the selected slip control mode. According to the present invention, fuel efficiency can be improved by minimizing loss of hydraulic power within a range where generation of a slip can be restricted. |
