The present invention relates to a composition for optical films and an optical film composed of the same. The composition includes: a homopolymer or a copolymer containing norbornene-based monomers; and a silicone resin. According to the present invention, adjustment of the phase difference in a thickness direction is possible in the optical films produced by the composition. Thus, the optical film can be useful for various products.
