METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FIBRE-COMPOSITE COMPONENT, FIBRE-COMPOSITE COMPONENT AND FIBRE-COMPOSITE FUSELAGE COMPONENT OF AN AIRCRAFT

The present invention provides a fibre-composite component and a method for manufacturing the same. The fibre-composite component comprises at least one structural component extending along at least one edge section of a recess to form at least a frame component along the edge section of the recess; and a skin section formed of a plurality of layers of prepreg semifinished mats, each prepreg semifinished mat including a plurality of fibres extending longitudinally in a substantially parallel configuration. The skin section is connected to said structural component such that the structural component and the layers of the skin section are formed as one piece. The plurality of layers of the prepreg semifinished mats are applied such that: (i) at least some of the fibres extend along a longitudinal direction toward the edge section of the recess, and extend in a curved path with a change in direction of at least 15 degrees relative to the longitudinal direction as such fibres are closer to the edge section of the recess; and (ii) the fibres extend along the edge section of the recess along lines of equal stress, when exposed to external forces, which lines lead around the edge section of the recess.
