AVN TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF

Disclosed is an audio video navigation (AVN) terminal. The AVN terminal includes: a display; a communication unit communicating with a telematics center; and a control unit which sets a geo-fence on the terminal, monitors the current location of a vehicle in area units through a launched navigation application, and determines whether the one area the vehicle currently is in or another area the vehicle moves toward is related to the set geo-fence when the current location of the vehicle is changed from one area to another area. The control unit can transmit a notification signal to the telematics center through the communication unit when the area or the other area is related to the set geo-fence. Accordingly, the AVN terminal can enhance efficiency of a device.
