PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-less coiling machine capable of properly retaining positions of a first pin and a second pin, and a cutting position independent of a temperature of material.SOLUTION: A coiling machine 10 includes a material guide 12, a first pin 13, a second pin 14, a pitch tool 15, a cutting tool 16, a heating device 17, a temperature sensor 18 and a control part. A material 2 continuously sent out from a tip 12a of the material guide 12 is bent between the first pin 13 and the second pin 14 and, thereby, a circular-arcuate part 2a is formed. The control part selects controlling data in accordance with a temperature of the material detected by the temperature sensor 18, of a plurality of controlling data in accordance with a processing temperature, controls the positions of the first pin 13 and the second pin 14 so as to make a curvature radius of the circular-arcuate part 2a formed between the first pin 13 and the second pin 14 larger as the temperature of the material gets higher and controls a position of the cutting tool 16 such that a distance from a curvature center C1 of the circular-arcuate part 2a to the cutting tool 16 is enlarged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
