PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device having an auxiliary electrode which can suppress the occurrence of a short circuit and leakage between electrodes without providing an insulation film at an end of a transparent electrode.SOLUTION: In an organic EL device including a first electrode, an organic EL layer and a second electrode on a substrate, at least a part of an end of the first electrode is covered with a first auxiliary electrode, and an angle between an end surface of at least a part of the first auxiliary electrode and a surface of the substrate is 75° or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
