PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater in which occurrence of abnormal short circuit of an anode terminal and a cathode terminal can be suppressed, when water enters the connector part.SOLUTION: In the connector part 41 of an electric heater, an anode groove 51 becoming the drainage passage for anode terminal, and a cathode groove 52 becoming the drainage passage for cathode terminal are formed separately in the inner wall surface of the connector housing 44. The anode groove 51 extends from an anode terminal 42 toward a drainage hole 53 provided in the connector housing 44. The cathode groove 52 extends from a cathode terminal 43 toward a drainage hole 54 provided in the connector housing 44. With such an arrangement, occurrence of abnormal short circuit due to the water adhering between the anode terminal 42 and cathode terminal 43, and occurrence of abnormal short circuit via the water existing in the groove can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
