The present invention relates to a device for removing an accretion and a control method thereof. The device for removing an accretion comprises: a steam spray unit installed on a wall body of a chute to spray steam into the chute; and a heat supply unit installed on an outside of a wall body to transfer heat to the wall body, so as to spray high-temperature steam, vaporize moisture using the heat of the steam, and automatically eliminate an accretion in a chute, thereby solving an overload problem occurring in a damper and an actuator, and improving work efficiency and economic feasibility. |
