PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transparent conductive film having transparency, heat resistance, and dimensional stability.SOLUTION: The method for producing a transparent conductive film comprises: applying a resin solution of a polyamic acid onto a substrate and imidizing the polyamic acid by heat treatment, thereby forming a polyimide film having a transmittance of 80% or more in a wavelength region from 440 nm to 780 nm on the substrate; subsequently removing the substrate from the polyimide film; and then forming a conductive layer on the obtained polyimide film at a temperature of 250°C or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None
