PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a structure suitable as a pad portion, in which the defect caused by the separation of a thin film is prevented when an oxide semiconductor, an insulation film, and a conductive film are stacked.SOLUTION: A display device includes a pixel electrode layer 110 where scan lines and signal lines are disposed in matrix, and a pixel portion provided in accordance with the pixel electrode layer 110. In the pixel portion, at least two kinds of oxide semiconductor layers containing a different amount of oxygen are combined. An inverted staggered thin film transistor 170 in which a channel protective layer 133 is provided on a semiconductor layer 103 serving as a channel formation region overlapping with the gate electrode layer 101 is provided. On the outside region of the pixel portion, a pad portion to be electrically connected to a common electrode layer 190 opposite to the pixel electrode layer 110 is formed of a conductive layer including the same material as the scan line and the signal line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
