<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticounterfeit medium that is prevented from being counterfeited by a copying machine or the like and is more effective by combining a conventional counterfeit prevention technology, and to provide an anticounterfeit medium that also has the function of suppressing generation of static electricity, thereby making adhesion of dust and so on less likely to occur when the medium is used for packaging for an individual package or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A light reflective base material is provided with a retardation layer obtained by fixing nematic liquid crystals or smectic liquid crystals are fixed, wherein a light reflective layer is formed in a line shape in which at least parts of lines are connected or partially formed in a grid, and information in its lower part is visible through openings where the light reflective layer is not formed.
