The carbon collector shoe (1) and its metal baseplate (3) are fixed to the carrier (8) by means of a bolt (7) passing through a hole (9) in the carrier and either a compression spring (11), leaf spring or rubber block to take up the slack. Firm contact of shoe and carrier is maintained even with change in length caused by temp. change. USE/ADVANTAGE - Mounting for a current collecting shoe for vehicle driven via pantograph.
