PURPOSE:To enhance detection efficiency and reliability. CONSTITUTION:An x-axis driving transducer 2x and a y-axis driving transducer 2y vibrating a vibrator 1 in x- and y-axis directions to respectively apply speeds to the vibrator 1 are bonded to an x-axis surface and a y-axis surface. An x-axis detecting transducer 3x and a y-axis detecting transducer 3y respectively detecting the vibrations generated by Coriolis forces generated in y- and x-axis directions when they receive angular velocity OMEGA around a z-axis are respectively bonded to the x-axis surface and the y-axis surface. The whole of the Coriolis forces generated in the y- and x-axis directions when the angular velocity Q is received around the z-axis is changed to vibration and becomes a threshold value for generating vibration at a start time by the Coriolis forces to be not consumed and the vibration due to the Coriolis forces is detected from a start time by the x-axis detecting transducer 3x and the y-axis detecting transducer 3y. |
