<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feeding device which can be applied when used sheets or environments are changed, and which can be applied to various sheet size with only a small number of feed rollers by providing a means to move the feed roller in the orthogonal direction to the cut sheet feed direction. CONSTITUTION:A feed roller 2 is composed of a rubber material 10, and a shaft bearing part 11 or 12. Racks 16a, 17a are provided at holders 16, 17 respectively, and they are connected to each other by a pinion gear 18. A feed roller shaft 13 is fixed for its position. In such a constitution, the holder 16 is pushed in the direction of A, the holder 17 moves in the inverse direction to the holder 16 for the same quantity as the holder 16, while if it is pulled in the direction of B, it moves inversely. The two feed rollers 2, 2 can thus be moved about the center of sheets for a desired sheet size both in a center-reference type and in an end surface-reference type. Only a small number of feed rollers are thus required for various sheet sizes.</p> |
