<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a stepper motor developing and testing device provided with a function which supplies an arbitrary specific control signal in addition to the well known control signal. CONSTITUTION: A stepper motor control simulator is provided with a central unit connected to input-output peripheral equipment and a digital signal generating stage A consisting of a calculation unit 2 composed of a memory and a clock having a frequency (f) and at least N independent triggerable memory units 9 which are controlled by the clock, respectively drive independent D/A converters 10, and are used for storing a series of (m) pieces of periodic signal values which are substantially equal to each other except the n/4 phase difference between them. The simulator is also provided with an analog power stage B constituted of N independent voltage-current converters 11 which are respectively connected to the outputs of the D/A converters 10 and the outputs of which are connected to one winding of a stepper motor for supplying signals having frequencies of f/n.</p> |
