PURPOSE:To increase initial magnetic permeability by sintering a compact of a magnetic oxide material after covering it with a cover consisting of two or more kinds of oxides including ZnO. CONSTITUTION:Ferric oxide is mixed with manganese oxide and zinc oxide. The resultant mixture is preliminarily fired, granulated and compacted to form a compact 4. This compact 4 is put on a tile 3 and enclosed with a frame 1 consisting of two or more kinds of oxides including at least ZnO. After covering it with a lid 2 having the same compsn. as the frame 1, the compact 4 is fired at 1,350-1400 deg.C for 2-10hr in a nitrogen atmosphere contg. 0.3-1.5% oxygen to obtain the objective high permeability magnetic oxide material having initial magnetic permeability of >=10,000 at 10kHz. |
