PURPOSE:To provide a method for analyzing a cDNA, capable of realizing the analysis of the same kind of a cDNA with the smaller number of primers than those by conventional methods. CONSTITUTION:This method for analyzing a cDNA includes a process for making the aggregation of double strand cDNA with plural kinds of antisense strand-forming primers, while using the aggregation of mRNA as a template for each primer, a process for digesting the double strand cDNA aggregation with a restriction enzyme for each obtained aggregation, a process for joining the digested aggregation to a double strand DNA primer having a sequence structure in which the 3'-terminal is jointed to the restriction enzyme-cleaved surface, a process for forming the aggregation of the antisense RNA or cDNA from the double strand cDNA joined to the primer, a process for forming the aggregation of sense cDNA, while using the aggregation of the antisense RNA or cDNA obtained in the above-mentioned process as a template, and a process for subjecting the obtained aggregations to an electrophoresis treatment with individual lanes for each aggregation unit. A method for analyzing the cDNA comprises applying the above-mentioned method and selectively recovering the cDNA existing only in an analysis pattern by the electrophoresis. |
