<p>PURPOSE:To positively prevent sudden engine braking generated in association with the connection of a clutch in the case of the power on state of a control unit during travel. CONSTITUTION:A continuously variable transmission 4 is connected to an engine 1 through an automatic clutch 2, and the automatic connection/disconnection of the automatic clutch 2 and the speed change control of the continuously variable transmission 4 are performed by the electric signals of a control unit 40. In such a vehicle, the control unit 40 is provided with an instantaneous power cutoff judging means 41 for judging whether the power is instantaneously cut off during travel by the initial arithmetic value history of an input signal at the power on time of the control unit 40, a speed change control normal reset judging means 42 for judging the normal reset of speed change control of the continuously variable transmission 4, and a clutch connection inhibiting means 43 for inhibiting the connection of the automatic clutch 2 until the speed change control of the continuously variable transmission is reset to normal in the case of instantaneous power cutoff during travel.</p> |
