PURPOSE:To obtain an egg quality improver bettering glair heap of hen's egg free from reduction in Haugh unit, comprising a citric acid-containing substance or vitamin B6. CONSTITUTION:A feed for chicken raising consisting of 60-65% grain, 15-18% vegetable protein, 6-10% animal protein, 1-2% plain dishes and 9-14% premixes is blended with 1-5% citric acid (citrate) as a citric acid-containing substance, 2-10% citric acid fermentation lees, 0.5-1.5% pickled UME (Japanese apricot) (dried pickled UME) or 0.01-0.5% vitamin B6 and, if necessary, a nutrient source such as vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, nicotinic acid, etc., and an extender such as wheat flour, milo flour, etc. |
