<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commercial processing apparatus which can improve a commercial effect and can arbitrarily select a means used for the improvement. <P>SOLUTION: The commercial processing apparatus acquires an AV stream by using a tuner 2, a streaming processing unit 3, or a DVD drive 4. A demultiplexer 5 demultiplexes the AV stream to acquire commercial metadata. A web browser 7 acquires a script document in which a procedure for processing the commercial metadata is described.
