The device has a separator placed between a tower (2) and a nacelle of a wind turbine, and connection rods or cables crossed between docking points (7-1) at top of the tower and in a head (5-5) of a mobile derrick (5). A hinge plate (9), a base and a mobile plate (9-1) are integrated to the tower, and a fixed plate (9-2) of the base is bolted on a concrete block of the wind turbine. A leg supports the tower at the level of the separator when the tower is horizontal and blades of the nacelle are on the ground and protected.
