METHOD FOR REPRODUCING RECORD OF MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM DRIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the data transfer rate at the time of recording as regards the magneto-optical recording medium in which reproduction is executed through a series of processes of 'transfer of recording-magnetic domain→enlargement of transfer magnetic domain→reproduction of transfer magnetic domain→reduction and disappearance of transfer magnetic domain' by applying alternating magnetic field. SOLUTION: In a method that recording is executed by applying modulated recording field to a magneto-optical recording medium having a magnetic laminate with laminated recording layer and amplification layer and reproduction is executed by applying one cycle of alternating magnetic field (reproducing magnetic field + erased magnetic field) per one recording mark (one bit), VR/VP>1 is established, where VR is linear velocity of the medium to the recording magnetic field and VP is linear velocity of the medium to the alternating magnetic field.
