PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily absorb setting accuracy of a mold of a press platen and a roller press. SOLUTION: When a distance C1 from a present position of one cutter device and a distance C2 from a present position of other cutter device to a trimming position of a plate-shaped work are to be obtained in a trimming device, such data as a distance B between the present cutter devices, an actual trimming width A1 set on a work, a set trimming width A2 set between the cutter devices, an actual center position S1 of the center of the actual trimming width between the cutter devices, as set center position S2 of the center of the set trimming width between the cutter device and an errorαbetween the actual center position S1 and set center position S2 and found by substituting them into a formula of C1=(B-A)/2+αand C2=(B-A)/2-α. In that case, A=A1=A2 for the above distance, width and positions.
