PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use multiple kinds of variable patterns with a short variation time by providing a plurality of variable display patterns which are the same in variable pattern and different only in change time and permitting a part of the whole variable patterns to have a plurality of variable display patterns corresponding to one variable pattern. SOLUTION: When a pattern variable is started, a display control command for indicating a variation start is transmitted. When a variation period ends, a command for supporting a 'whole pattern stop' is transmitted. When a display control CPU 101 in a display control substrate 80 receives a display control command for indicating the variation start, that is, the display control command for indicating the variable display patterns, left, right and middle patterns are controlled by variable display in accordance with the previously decided variable pattern corresponding to the display control command.
