PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the baumkuchen is prepared by laminating a plurality of thin layers of cake dough and individual layers are made of the same dough layers and its taste results in poor variation. SOLUTION: In this baumkuchen, layers 12 having a different taste from that of cake dough layers 10, for example, layers of fruit jam, are inserted between the cake dough layers 10. Thus, a new type of baumkuchen having rich variations in the taste and the appearance is provided.
