A wireless LAN system having a DVD player is provided to reduce a cost for construction of a home theater and efficiently utilize a space in installation of a system. A TV reception card(210) receives a TV broadcast signal. A DVD ROM(270) reproduces a DVD image signal according to a provided reproduction control signal. A key input unit(220) inputs a key input signal for controlling a TV channel, a key signal for controlling an AP(Access Point) and a key signal for reproducing the DVD image signal inserted in the DVD ROM(270). A storage unit(260) stores operation firmware of the AP. A controller(230) controls access and input/output of the storage unit(260), provides the reproduction control signal to the DVD ROM(270), and processes other plurality of key input signals. An IOP(Input/Output Processor)(240) controls inputting/outputting of the TV broadcast signal outputted from the TV reception card(210), wired LAN data and the DVD image signal reproduced from the DVD ROM(270) to/from a fixed line terminal(400). A network connector(250) transmits wireless LAN data to a mobile terminal(100) through an antenna and provides the wired LAN data received through the Internet to the IOP(240).
