A vacuum pump with a view window for an oil gauge is provided to check an amount of oil supplied to a motor easily by providing a transparent view window to a cover surrounding the motor. A vacuum pump with a view window for an oil gauge includes an inlet for introducing gas, and a motor for introducing the gas into the vacuum pump and having an oil gauge. A cooler filters impurities from the gas. A cover(140) surrounding the motor and the cooler. A transparent view window(144) is provided to the cover for a user to observe the oil gauge from the outside.
