A refrigerator is provided to withdraw ice in a refrigerator having a refrigerating compartment at an upper part of a freezer compartment by providing an ice maker into an insulating case mounted in the refrigerating compartment. A refrigerator includes a main body having a refrigerating compartment at an upper part of a freezer compartment. An insulating case(70) is mounted to a door(53) of the refrigerating compartment in communication with a freezer compartment for introducing chilled air from the freezer compartment. An ice maker(75) is mounted in the insulating case for making ice by the chilled air introduced into the insulating case and discharges ice downward. An ice bank(76) is mounted at a lower part of the ice maker for receiving the ice discharged from the ice maker. A dispenser(D) is mounted at a lower part of the ice bank for discharging ice to the outside of the door.
