A rotary type automatic dust remover is provided to drive a chain smoothly by absorbing tensile force applied on a chain effectively, to drive a rack at the appointed interval with a screen bar by driving a chain smoothly, and to install and drive a chain exactly by sensing the tensile force added on chains using a load cell. The rotary type automatic dust remover removes various impurities caught in a screen bar by interposing a rake drove along chains(8) connected to a driving motor between screen bars erected between right and left walls of a channel, wherein a shaft(12) of a chain sprocket attached with chains(8) is inserted into a long hole(15) formed on right and left frames(14), then attached with a bearing shaft(17), tension control units(19) are installed to the outside of the frames(14) to move the bearing shaft(17) along rails(20,20') formed on the upper and lower inner sides, a nut fitting hole is formed on the front of the bearing shaft(17), and a square screw(22) inserted through a hole formed on a front plate(28) of the tension control units(19) is fixed with a nut(24) and a pin by inserting a load cell(30) and a spring(32).
