PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a pressure resistance of an electric flow control valve without increasing the thickness of a lid member of a conventional one. SOLUTION: In an electric flow control valve, a valve element is rotated by being engaged with a rotor by a drive means such as a stepping motor, and the opening/closing of a valve port communicating with an outlet passage is regulated, so as to control the flow rate. In the electric flow control valve, the cap-like lid member 1 comprises a convex portion 2 or a concave portion 2' and a flange portion 3. A stepped notch 4 which abuts against an upper end of a cylindrical case 6, is provided in an outer peripheral edge portion of a lower surface of the flange portion 2.
