PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device using a motor-driven shock absorber by using a dynamic brake characteristic of a motor to control strokes of a rod. SOLUTION: This suspension device uses a dynamic brake characteristic to be generated by forming a short-circuit between both ends of a driving coil 2 of the motor 30 through a variable resistor 11, and changes attenuating force of the motor-driven shock absorber provided between a chassis 101 and the wheels 102 by changing a resistance value of the variable resistor 11.
