<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method for producing sugar cane tea by which the sugar cane can be treated while suppressing discoloration (red) by oxidation as possible in each step of crushing, drying and roasting of the sugar cane. <P>SOLUTION: The delicious sugar cane tea leaving the perfume and sweetness of the sugar cane as they are can be produced by washing the sugar cane with water, subjecting the washed sugar cane to a treatment for breaking the sugar cane to small pieces, carrying out the drying treatment by rapidly reserving the heat by the sunlight of sunshine so as not to change the color, subjecting the dried product to a crushing treatment, and subjecting the crushed product to a gentle roasting treatment while stirring the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
