PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray nozzle 1 capable of easily varying a spray area and performing spraying while a hood part is attached or detached to or from the nozzle 1. SOLUTION: The spray nozzle 1 is provided with a nozzle base part 2, a nozzle tip part 3, a spray plate 4 for forming a flat pattern 10 and a hood 5 having a shape corresponding to the flat pattern 10 and covering the nozzle tip part 3. In the spray nozzle 1, the nozzle tip part 3 is fixed to be rotatable to the nozzle base part 2 and the spray plate 4 and the hood 5 are fixed to the nozzle tip part 3. Then, the spray plate 4 and the hood 5 are rotated simultaneously with the rotation of the nozzle tip part 3 and a spray agent is sprayed while the spray area is rotated to make the direction of the flat pattern 10 match the direction of the hood 5. The hood 5 is detachably fixed to the nozzle tip part 3 in the spray nozzle 1. Consequently, the spray agent is sprayed even when the hood 5 is removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
