<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display long-period electric energy information at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This electric energy monitoring system 1 is equipped with an electronic type breaker which outputs switching-on information and a monitoring unit 3 which monitors the switching-on information from the electronic type breaker. The electronic type breaker has a current detecting circuit 21, a voltage detecting circuit 22 and a breaker control part 23 which calculates and outputs the switching-on information. The monitoring unit 3 has a unit control part 32 which conducts data processing on the basis of the switching-on information from the electronic type breaker, an indication circuit 33 and a memory device 35 which stores the result of the data processing. The electronic type breaker calculates short-period switching-on information, while the monitoring unit 3 calculates the long-period electric energy information. By this constitution, a memory for recording long-period electric energy data needs to be provided only in the monitoring unit and does not need to be provided in the electronic type breaker, and therefore the cost is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
