PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bowl which enables a plate to be easily moved.SOLUTION: An open-topped bowl 1 has a pair of protrusions inwardly protruded from inner wall surfaces arranged opposite to each other in the bowl 1. The pair of protrusions form inclined surfaces 13 inclined toward a bottom face section 15 of the bowl 1 with higher stepped sections 11 horizontally extended from one edge sections of the inclined surfaces 13 along the inner wall surfaces. Each higher stepped section 11 has a first horizontal surface 11a extended from the one edge section of the inclined surface 13 in a direction away therefrom and a second horizontal surface 11b extended along the inclined surface 13.
