PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor compressor in which there is provided a refrigerant feeding passage capable of feeding sufficient amount of refrigerant into a refrigerant flow passage formed in a rotor while being passed in an axial direction of it, a flow passage pressure loss can be reduced, a suction efficiency and subsequently a compression efficiency can be improved and further it can contribute to a small-sized formation.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a motor compressor in which refrigerant sucked from a suction port into a housing is flowed around a motor and passed to a compression mechanism. A rotor 16 of the motor is provided with a plurality of refrigerant flow passages 35 passing in an axial direction due to reduced wall holes. A balance weight provided on a surface of balance weights 32 arranged at both end surfaces of the rotor 16 is provided with refrigerant feeding-out passages communicating with the refrigerant flow passages 35 and at the same time, the balance weights 32 arranged at the suction port side is provided with a refrigerant feeding passage 36 formed by the guide wall surfaces 43, 44 facing to a rotating direction for feeding the refrigerant from the opening part 41 at its outer peripheral surface to the refrigerant flow passage 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
