The present invention provides a one-component photocatalyst coating composition and a preparation method therefor. The present invention comprises: 100 parts by weight of an aqueous solution consisting of deionized water; 2-15 parts by weight of a photocatalyst material which has a photocatalyst effect with light supplied from the outside; 10-20 parts by weight of a negative charge surfactant which causes micellization of the photocatalyst material in the aqueous solution; and 5-15 parts by weight of a colloidal inorganic binder which is dispersed in the aqueous solution. The present invention has the advantage that an operator can efficiently attach the photocatalyst material to an object to be attached thereto with a single coating task.
