An example belt and buckle apparatus includes a belt having a first end and a second end. A buckle with connectors and a slider is attached to one of the two ends of the belt. The buckle removably attaches to another of the two ends of the belt. A belt overlap extends through both sides of the buckle to cover openings or holes formed in at least one of the first end and the second end of the belt. The belt and buckle apparatus provides a balanced or symmetrical appearance even when it is worn by a user.
