FILM COMPRISING ISOTACTIC PROPYLENE COPOLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel polypropylene polymers for film application.

SOLUTION: Films comprise at least one layer made of a polymer containing: (A) at least 50 wt.% propylene; and (B) at least 5 wt.% ethylene and/or one or more unsaturated comonomers. Representative unsaturated comonomers of the component (B) are 4-20C α-olefins, 4-20C dienes, styrene compounds or the like. Suitably, the films have at least one of (1) a haze value lower than about 10 and (2) a glossiness 45° higher than about 65 and a dart drop value larger than about 100g/mil.
