<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing operation noises, operational vibration, and energy consumption accompanying scavenging. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 includes a fuel cell stack 10, a hydrogen tank 21 for supplying hydrogen to an anode passage 11 of the fuel cell stack 10, a compressor 31 for supplying air to a cathode passage 12 of the fuel cell stack 10, an ion exchanger 37 arranged on an anode offgas passage where an anode offgas discharged from the anode passage 11 flows, the compressor 31 for scavenging the fuel cell stack 10, pipings 38a, 38b for supplying the whole or part of the scavenged gas from the compressor 31 to the ion exchanger 37 by bypassing the fuel cell stack 10, and a flow control valve 38 for controlling a flow rate of the air circulating through the pipings 38a, 38b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
