PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle plate which prevents increase of surface potential of a printing object and inhibits occurrence of discharge failure.SOLUTION: A nozzle plate 1 is used in a droplet discharge head which discharges electrostatically charged ink droplets 110 to a printing object 108 and includes: a discharge port 102 provided on a nozzle surface 101 facing the printing object 108; a discharge chamber 104 filled with the ink droplets 110 discharged from the discharge chamber 102; a nozzle hole 103 which is formed from the discharge port 102 in a thickness direction of the nozzle plate 1 and communicates with the discharge chamber 104; a first electrode 105 which is provided in at least one of the discharge chamber 104 and the nozzle hole 103 and contacts with at least part of the ink droplets 110; and a second electrode 106 which is provided on the nozzle surface 101, is not connected with the first electrode 105, and does not contact with the ink droplets 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
