PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find needs for novel non-ash type lubricant agents containing no phosphorus, sulfur nor metals, high in friction reduction effect, suppressing generation of deposit, sludge or the like, further capable of exhibiting cleaning effect and to provide the novel lubricant agents satisfying these needs, to find needs for exhibiting performance of the friction reduction effect, the cleaning effect or the like even under various environments such as low temperature and high temperature and to provide the novel lubricant agent capable of exhibiting excellent performance even when increasing added amounts and even under various environments such as low temperature and high temperature.SOLUTION: There is provided an additive for lubricant and grease containing polyether amine carbonate represented by the general formula (1): [R-COO][R-O(AO)m-XH]. The carbonate is carboxylic acid with carbon number R=7 to 21, preferably carbon number R=7 to 19, further preferably oleic acid with carbon number C17. Ris a hydrocarbon group having 8 to 50 carbon atoms, A is an alkyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, O is oxygen, m is an integer of 10 to 50, X is an amino group or a substituted amino group.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
