摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a molding material providing molded articles having excellent bond strength and flame retardancy, comprising a thermosetting resin and a fibrous base subjected to surface treatment with a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective molding material comprises (A) a thermosetting resin composed of a high ortho-novolak type phenol resin preferably containing a large amount of hexamethylenetetramine as a curing agent and (B) a fibrous base composed of preferably glass fibers subjected to surface treatment with a thermosetting resin composed of preferably phenol resin as essential components.
