<p>PURPOSE:To connect the pipes made of synthetic resin without requiring skillfulness by spreading the pipe edge of the pipe made of synthetic resin in the radial direction and forming the pipe edge to a joint flange, and joining the joint flanges which are opposed through a seal flange by bolts and nuts. CONSTITUTION:When the pipes 1 and 2 made of vinyl chloride are connected, the half divided coupling flanges 3-6 and a seal flange 7 which is constituted so that the surfaces which receive the edge parts of the pipes 1 and 2 are formed to the curved surface shaped set surfaces 7b and 7b are prepared. The flanges 3 and 4 are wound on the periphery of the pipe 1, and after a bolt 8a is inserted into the connection seats 3e and 4e, a nut 8b is screwed from below the connection seats 3e and 4e and temporarily fixed. After the restrained seats 3a and 4a of the flanges 3 and 4 are collided with the back surface of the joint flange 1a of the pipe 1, the nut 8b is tightened firmly. After the flanges 5 and 6 are installed similarly, the seal flange 7 is interposed between the flanges 3-6, and the flanges 3-6 are connected by a bolt, and the connection of the pipes 1 and 2 is completed.</p> |
