<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with an electromagnetic clutch capable of reducing the overall size. <P>SOLUTION: The motor 10 with an electromagnetic clutch comprises a worm 27 formed on a motor shaft 26 rotatable forward and reversely, a worm wheel 34 meshing the worm 27, and an electromagnetic clutch 50 linked with the worm wheel 34 to transmit power of the motor shaft 26 and to interrupt transmission. A torque transmission plate 35 is rotary driven by the worm wheel 34, axial direction of the worm wheel 34 is parallel with the attracting/repelling direction of the output shaft side friction board 57 of the electromagnetic clutch 50, and the outer circumferential tooth section 53a at the forward end of the input shaft 53 of the electromagnetic clutch 50 meshes the tooth section 35b of the torque transmission plate 35. A large diameter gear 64 secured to the forward end of an output shaft 56 meshes the tooth section 39c of a small diameter gear 39 having a sensor magnet 42 supported rotatably and coaxially with the worm wheel 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
