The device has radial movable clips (11) connected to a side of a rigid plate (5) of a bearing bracket by a fixation screw (12). A bearing seat (4) receives a radial bearing (1) whose outer ring (7) is stopped on an internal radial shoulder (8) of the seat. The clips are projected into an opening for introduction of the bearing in the seat to be supported on the ring of the bearing opposite to the shoulder to form an axial stop for maintaining the bearing in the seat. An elastic washer (15) is placed between the shoulder and the ring to plate the bearing against the clips. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a bearing bracket comprising a clamp integrated to a rigid plate (2) a method for mounting a radial bearing in a bearing bracket.
