PURPOSE: To prevent the twist of flexible tubes caused by the movement of a moving mechanism to prevent the diffusion of ink by constituting an ink delivery apparatus of a sleeve having first and second mutually bonded expansible members of a flexible sheet material and the flexible tubes supplying ink from an ink tank and stretched parallelly and physically separated with respect to the other tube. CONSTITUTION: An ink delivery apparatus includes a sleeve covering a plurality of flexible ink delivery tubes 14. One end of a tube 16 is connected to a plurality of ink sources 18 through a conventional fixed and sealed coupling and the other end thereof is connected to a movable mechanism 22 such as a printing head through the coupling fixed to the carriage 24 moving along a track 26 to be sealed. The ink delivery apparatus is folded as the printing head 22 approaches the ink sources 18 and becomes straight as the printing head 22 separates from the ink sources. Therefore, the mutual twist of the flexible tubes by the movement of the moving mechanism is prevented and the diffusion of ink through a wall is minimized. |
