<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform superimposed recording/reproducing in the same format in a read-only optical disk and a recordable optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: Data can be recorded in a superimposed manner into a read-only optical disk as well as a recordable optical disk. In order to reduce a recognition error caused when reading normal recording data or superimposed recording data of an adjacent track, and to reduce the influence of data writing or erasing of the adjacent track, superimposed recording is prohibited in the track adjacent to the recording part of the superimposed recording track. In order to prevent a signal from being superimposed on the superimposed recording part when recording/reading the adjacent track, a mark length of the superimposed part is reduced toward the adjacent track. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
