<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas introducing pipe capable of jetting expanding/deploying gas in a length direction of a curtain airbag, and facilitating machining and downsizing. <P>SOLUTION: The gas introducing pipe 4 for the airbag device is connected to an inflator 3, inserted in the curtain airbag 2, and jets the expanding/deploying gas from the inflator from a middle portion in a length direction of the curtain airbag in its length direction to supply that to the curtain airbag. The gas introducing pipe 4 for the airbag device comprises a cylindrical body 8 inserted in the curtain airbag in the length direction and blocked by press machining at an end portion 4b on the curtain airbag side, a projecting portion 9 formed by projecting and machining a part of a peripheral side surface of the cylindrical body outward, and a jet hole provided at the projecting portion in a length direction of the cylindrical body and supplying the expanding/deploying gas into the curtain airbag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
